Having just started my new affiliate site, there’s not too much I can do at this point about how many users I get, outside of doing heavy promotion. I just wanted to let everyone know that my strategy for “How I’m driving traffic to my affiliate site” is working pretty good. I got a couple more sales and I’m currently two shipped items away from increasing my commission from 6% to 6.50% as you can see in the image below:

Following My Page Rank Google Position Using Market Samurai

In addition, following my page rank with Market Samurai I can see that I have moved up again! Last week I moved up from rank 38 to 31 for my main keywords. This week I have moved up from 31 to 25! I’m super excited to see that my hard work is paying off. I wanted to write a quick post to let you know how I’m currently driving traffic to my affiliate site. If you’ve been following along with my blog so far, you’ll know that I’m just starting out with a new affiliate site and already making a tiny bit of money. I just checked my Amazon reports this morning and found that I am now up to $32.72 !

Amazon Affiliate Commissions

I started doing a little bit of covert promotion and have seen my clicks jump incredibly. I even have a few more sales that haven’t been shipped yet. With the Amazon affiliate account, you can see your “Orders Summary” that shows how many items were ordered, as well as your “Earning Summary” which shows the total items shipped.

As you can see, I have 25 shipped items and 27 ordered items. This means that as soon as these other 2 items ship, I’ll get more in my Total Earnings. However, for having just started out, $32.72 is pretty exciting to me. No, it’s not enough to live on, but it’s just the beginning! Read More

I’m going to let you in on a little secret. I’m broke, and jobless. If you’ve read my first blog post – The American Dream Definition – Redefined, then you know a little bit about what led me to my current state of affairs. It’s not something I’m proud of, but I can either sulk in depression, or lift my head up and take action. Since taking action is the true theme of this blog, that is what I’m going to do.

Without going into all the details and giving you a sob story, I can say that I’m one year into a drawn out bankruptcy, facing foreclosure on my home, and collecting food stamps to support my family while searching for a job. Typically, this is a subject related to your current profession, or a hobby that you are passionate about. Eventually you can branch out into niche’s that are more profitable, but to start out, it’s best to work on something that you know a lot about or excites you in some way.
